The Journey of Rhythm
With over 5 years of professional teaching experience and more than 6 years of formal Kathak training, the journey has been one of devotion, discipline, and artistic expression.
What started as a childhood passion transformed into a lifelong pursuit of mastering the intricate rhythms (taal) and emotive storytelling (abhinaya) of Kathak. Today, that passion is shared with students worldwide through online classes, and brought to life on stages across the country.

Surashree Bhattacharye is a National Scholar in Kathak from the Ministry of Culture, a graded artiste of Doordarshan Prasar Bharati, and an empanelled artiste of the ICCR, Government of India. She also holds a Sangeet Visharad in both Kathak and vocal music. Having represented Indian culture across the globe in over 25 countries, Surashree has received numerous awards from government organizations and performed at many prestigious festivals throughout India and abroad.
